Senior Lecturer Caroline Molloy kick started this year’s OIL (Online International Learning) partnership by travelling to University of Arts in Bucharest, Romania – a partnership that was initiated by Caroline’s previous visit in April.
Our Second year students, studying on the Community, Culture and Identity module will be working collaboratively with students from Bucharest to respond to site specific tasks and themes during the module. This will enable students to form cross-cultural contacts and improve their networking and communication skills.
The module will be run using online platforms, specifically google+ community and the Community, Culture and Identity blog, with thoughts and ideas tracked through using twitter #cci15 & @ComCultureID

As a part of the module we have also recently hosted a talk by Coventry-based photographer Jason Tilley and will soon be hosting Artist Sian Macfarlane who both work with site specific themes and communities within their work. Sian will also be working closely with the students on the development of their own projects.
