Free Range: third year students showcase

By -

Third year photography students have had the opportunity to showcase their final degree show in London, at the  Truman Brewery as a part of this year’s Free Range Graduate shows. Free Range runs over a number of weeks, showcasing Universities from all over the country.

A number of the students from ‘Collective Vision’, the 2015 CU Photography degree show collective, exhibited their work.  The opening night was on Thursday 18th June, which was a lively, vibrant event giving students, lecturers and invitees a chance to explore student work from different institutions.

Representing the graduating year of the photography course at Free Range was a fantastic way of rounding off my time at Coventry University. It was great to have the opportunity to see my work and the work of some of my peers in central London, which is a hub of energy and creativity; I certainly never imagined that I’d be taking part in exhibition like this when I started the course. It was also a good opportunity to see what other uni’s had produced for their degree shows. Although it was hard work, it was very worthwhile experience.
