Free Range exhibition at the Truman Brewery, London

Continuing on from the success of our degree show at the Box in Fargo, the third years also showcased their work at the annual Free Range graduate showcase at the Truman Brewery in London recently.

The work was on show between 30th June to 4th July. This was a fantastic opportunity for the students to have their work seen by a London audience, as well as enabling professional experience working on the organisation and installation of the show, and the feedback has been extremely positive!

With two days for the installation of the show we transformed the ground floor area into a group exhibition space, giving students the experience of what it takes to put this kind of show on.

On Monday 4th July, the final day of the show, students were also taking part in portfolio reviews.  We invited selected industry professionals in to speak to students about their work – and what better space to do it than in the exhibition itself!  The reviewers included; Shannon Ghannam, photography and multimedia producer; Federica Chiocchetti, writer, critic and curator; Tim Clark, curator; Kate Peters, award winning photographer; and Kim Shaw, Executive Director at Photofusion.
