Media Production students recently returned from a week-long location film shoot in Reykjavik, Iceland.
Collaborating with Icelandic actors, filmmakers and students from the Icelandic Film School to produce two short films, ‘Outdated’ and ‘Snowblind’, the students filmed in various locations in and around Reykjavik in weather conditions ranging from blazing sun, afternoon snow blizzards and tranquil midnight moonlight. Some were even treated to a spectacular display of the northern lights as they filmed night scenes in a remote part of Iceland’s breathtaking landscape.
Both films have now entered post-production and will be submitted to the festival circuit when complete.
