And… rolling: at work in new TV studio

By -

Journalism students have got straight down to work learning to make news and magazine-style programmes in Coventry University’s new TV studio – nicknamed The Tank, because of its resemblance to a large fishtank (without the fish).

It has green screen, three studio cameras, and a gallery able to take in live feeds from anywhere in the world using tools such as Digero or even Skype. And for students, it’s all hands-on.

Click here to see a video about the new studio, opened in early 2016. Or scroll down to see first-year Journalism students getting the feel of it.
